Thoughts: As the technological world advances, the state of loneliness overpowers the lifeworld of Generation Z.

Technology's influence has swayed younger generations, diverting us from genuine evolution and leading us toward disunity. New forms of media and communication continuously reshape the living spheres of many people’s worlds. The way young adults choose to live is increasingly dictated by societal norms, including those tied to the technological world—especially in relation to the 'work-life' lifestyle.

For most, participation in the workforce is inevitable, dictated by given or chosen socioeconomic circumstances, many of which trace back to the political economy. Is this the career you chose, or the one you were taught to choose? The feelings evoked are those of complete estrangement from oneself, a result of societal expectations.

The need to validate oneself through participation in the political economy is constantly shaped by societal norms and influenced by social factors like social media, politics, socioeconomic power, and the traditions of old culture.

In these works, I offer a glimpse into the eerie truth of our position in the current globalized climate—the urban world in black and white.
